Hogan Oval hosted a double header in round seven of the 2019 Namoi Soccer League season and the two Narrabri teams gave the home fans a lot to cheer about.

Crossroads Eleven FC and Narrabri FC combined to defeat the two travelling Moree teams 7-2 across the two matches.

Crossroads Eleven FC challenged Moree Services FC Two in the first game of the day and secured its first win of the season with a thumping 5-2 victory.

The home side led 2-0 at half time before outscoring Moree 3-2 in the second stanza.

Narrabri FC then hosted Moree One at home for the first time since the 2018 grand final loss.

The hosts got the job done with a 2-0 win after firing in two second half goals.

The Crossroads side’s win was a well-deserved one.

In its previous two games it produced two impressive second half performances but the first half in both games saw the respective matches get away from the team.

However in round seven the Elevens produced a 90-minute performance to earn the three points.
