Bellata’s War Memorial Hall continues to be transformed thanks to the efforts of its volunteer hall committee and financial support from the federal government, Shire Council and donors.

The hall has this year been the beneficiary of two big grants which is funding further upgrades to the community facility, restoration and new kitchen appliances.

“We have received a generous $20,000 grant from the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Foundation Community Futures Grant, accepted by our treasurer Kate Crosara at The Royal Easter Show on behalf of the hall committee” said president Heather Langfield.

“We also received $49,901.37 from the Narrabri Shire Drought Communities Program.”

“The hall is used for many community events” said treasurer Kate Crosara.
