Priag Marketing and WTC Earthmoving will go head-to-head in the Narrabri District Cricket Association’s 2020-21 Namoi Super Slog T20 competition grand final tomorrow night at Collins Park.

New champions will be crowned after last year’s grand final winners Specialised Civil Services failed to qualify for this season’s decider.

Priag Marketing and WTC Earthmoving could hardly be separated this season.

Both finished on 27 points following three wins, two losses and a washout draw each, with first-placed Priag Marketing’s net run rate percentage (1.35) giving it a slight edge on the ladder over second-placed WTC Earthmoving (1.22).

The two sides played against one another twice this season, with each claiming a comfortable win against the other.

In round three at Collins Park, Priag Marketing (101) defeated WTC Earthmoving (44) by 57 runs.

In round six at Hogan Oval, WTC Earthmoving (5-100) chased to beat Priag Marketing (6-99) by five wickets.

Tomorrow night’s grand final will be played at Collins Park from 7pm.

There will be a crowd catch prize on offer from the NDCA where the first person in the crowd to catch a six from one of the batsmen will receive $100.

Greg ‘The Hat’ Henry will be on the decks, providing in-game entertainment and commentary which will include score updates throughout the match.

Both sides are expected to be at full strength for the decider, however WTC Earthmoving skipper Justin Knight is under an injury cloud after suffering a hamstring injury against Priag in round six last Saturday.
