The local market has been slowly moving higher and for the last three days made highs around 7,471 and then closed lower. A small sign of weakness perhaps.
The US based S@P 500 has made a fresh high as US markets move into a seasonally strong period.
After hitting the 61.8 per cent retracement target of the big range down Whitehaven Coal has lost 26 per cent and we sold half our position.
On the daily chart there is still a chance Whitehaven can find support off the rising trendline. Time will tell.
