Narrabri Touch’s 2024 season mixed competition teams competed in their grades for the first time on Monday night at Hogan Oval and Leitch Oval, and there were a few tight tussles.

A-grade side Just Gammin entered the evening having won all 11 of their ungraded games to top the ladder, but that streak came to an end when they were held to a 6-all draw by Sprayerbarn Spinouts. Hammertime ascended to the top of the A-grade table as they knocked off Tradies and Ladies 6-3.

There was also a draw in B-grade as Wilga Pelicans and JWG Hounddogs finished all square at 5-all. Banksia Babes and Blokes gained the early ascendancy in B-grade with a 6-2 victory over Win Or Booze.

The first C-grade match was won 7-5 by One Hit Wonders over Touch ‘n’ Go, and then the second game saw Kerrigans win far more comfortably as they downed RSL Guys and Gals 8-1.

Two more graded rounds will be played before the finals series begin.
