Kogil Street Pre school has an active program of engagement with Aboriginal culture, language and heritage issues for its children under the stewardship of director Heidi Harper and the board.
Last week’s NAIDOC Week celebrations were a further opportunity for the children and community to celebrate the connections, Ms Harper said.
The NAIDOC Week highlights included a ‘welcome to country’ and rendition of Amazing Grace from talented vocalist Kiesha Leonard as children, parents and staff gathered.
