Books in print are always popular at Narrabri Shire libraries, but now readers can also be viewers with a new, free, on-demand video streaming service.
Library members have at-home access to more than 30,000 movies, documentaries, courses and children’s programs.
“Shire library members already have access to e-resources like audio books, e-books and e-magazines and downloadable music, but now we have Kanopy, an on-demand streaming video platform,” said Narrabri Shire Library manager Jenny Campbell.
The on-demand video is available by simply logging in with your library number, choosing Central Northern Regional Library and picking your movie, said Jenny.
“Library members can log on 24/7.”
Narrabri Library and its membership is already established as a regional leader in lending.
“Narrabri Shire is the second highest user of e-resources in the Central Northern region.
“We have a comprehensive suite of resources from print to electronic.”
This includes more than 100,000 downloadable songs, she added.
How do you get access? Join the library – it’s free, said Jenny.
