Saturday’s Nosh Narrabri and evening music concert, Nosh On, will be a great opportunity for people to enjoy a community get together and perhaps put aside drought worries for a day.
The Nosh is a fantastic community event, the culmination of long planning and commitment by the band of volunteers who undertake the organisation, supported by generous local sponsors, helpers and in-kind contributors.
Nosh Narrabri president Darrell Tiemens and his volunteer committee have invited the community to the free event in the grounds of The Crossing Theatre.
And the invitation has been extended far afield, as Mr Tiemens said, from the Gold Coast to Dubbo.
“It is fantastic branding for our town” he said.
“The Nosh is great for our community and a positive for the future as well.
“It demonstrates to people that we can offer an event like this, showing that you can have a great lifestyle, and cultural experience outside the big cities.
“Each year we have returning many exhibitors and visitors to Narrabri Shire for the Nosh, a testament to its success.”
