Friends gathered at the Captain Sturt Hotel, Wentworth, on August 31 for a 25th wedding anniversary celebration lunch for Allan and Ruth (nee Shearer) Michell.
The Michells, formerly of Rowena and Burren Junction, now live at Cullulleraine, Victoria.
Guests came from Werrimull, Wentworth, Pooncarie, and Mildura. The couple’s groomsman and pageboy were unable to attend the anniversary due to work commitments, but Ruth’s bridesmaid, Cathy Antonio, flew in from Northam, Western Australia for the special occasion. Ruth’s flowergirl Clare Taylor also attended.
