Two men’s bowls finals were contested on the synthetic green at the Narrabri Sporties on Sunday afternoon.
Paul Crutcher and Bobby Ireland were crowned the Senior Pairs winners for 2019, and the President’s Pairs winners were Trinity Kelly and Sean Anderson.
It was a brilliant comeback win for Crutcher and Ireland.
The pair trailed 16-5 on the 13th end in the Senior Pairs final played against Anthony Welchman and Bill Rosewarn.
Crutcher and Ireland then scored 11 points over the next two ends to even the score at 16-all.
They went on to win the game 24-20.
Kelly and Anderson were down 6-3 on the fifth end against David Briggs and Dave Dewar.
Kelly and Anderson then won the next seven ends and went on to win the decider 23-12.
