Narrabri High School names school leaders for 2020

The 2020 Narrabri High School leaders were announced yesterday, with Breeana Smith and Andrew Coleman named school captains for the coming year.

Breeana and Andrew will form the leadership group with vice-captains Meagan Dampney and Alex Loder, and prefects Sara Charles, Alyssa and Caitlyn Ford and Jesse Strong.

Narrabri High School principal Dinos Charalambous told The Courier that the new leadership group had big shoes to fill, and that he was confident they would be wonderful representatives for the school.

“Our leaders this year were outstanding, so our new leaders have some big shoes to fit into,” Mr Charalambous said.

“I’m pretty confident that they will do so. They are all great kids who are self motivated.”

Mr Charalambous added that the school aimed to promote the best leadership possible irrespective of gender, and that the six girls and two boys which formed the 2020 leadership group all delivered impressive speeches.
