The Narrabri District Cricket Association’s War Veterans Cup campaign began in perfect fashion today.
The Pink Slugs’ bowling attack was phenomenal keeping Tamworth’s XI to a total of 138.
It was not a smooth start with the bat for the visitors but a game-high 73 runs from Nick Smart helped the Pink Slugs chase down Tamworth’s total and earn a round one victory.
