There may be no harvest – again – in the Bellata district but that’s no reason not have a party.

In fact, the Bellata community is holding a party because there is no harvest.

“Last year we staged the ‘Harvest Under the Stars’ party at Bellata Golf Club because there was no harvest – it was an event which was designed to bring everyone together, have a great time and forget the drought just for a while” said an organiser Drew Penberthy.

“Harvest Under the Stars 2018 achieved its aim – and now, with the second year in a row with basically no crops and no harvest we are holding Harvest Under the Stars: Take 2 – “Down but not out – yet.”

“We had a fantastic event last year and look forward to another this year on Saturday, November 9 at the Bellata Golf Club.”

Buses will bring revellers from Moree and Narrabri to the Bellata Golf Club and return them at evening’s end.

‘We hope to see many people come and join us the party” said Drew.

Everyone is welcome to go along and support the Bellata community and enjoy a night of great food, drinks and live music.

There will be exhibits – of headers old and new among others – at the venue.

Last year Harvest Under the Stars attracted about 250 people -and there is expected to be even more for Harvest Under the Stars 2.
