One way of attracting visitors to country towns is to have a festival. Nosh Narrabri is a spectacularly successful example, with ‘Back to the ‘Bri’ now emerging as another winner, Wee Waa’s Cotton Capital Country Muster and Boggabri’s Spring Fair and Drover’s Campfire are popular drawcards. Now Mudgee has launched a new festival – the inaugural Festival of Snags will be held on Saturday, November 30. The festival is a tribute to sausages in all their forms.
