Narrabri’s Bev Burrows Netball Courts hosted 15 matches of mixed netball on Thursday evening as the Narrabri Netball Association’s twilight mixed season reached round four.
The nine scheduled senior matches went ahead with a mixture of close games and convincing victories.
In Pool A a highly-anticipated match between two of the top sides was contested and they certainly delivered, with How I Net Your Mother downing Choc Chips 24-20 to stretch its undefeated winning streak to four games.
In the other two Pool A matches Galaxy moved into second with a 33-24 win against Smarties, and Nets Get Physical defeated Mastermyne 11-8.
In Pool B first-placed The Fraggles and second-placed Blue Steelers continued their undefeated runs to start the 2019 campaign, both winning their fourth straight games.
The Fraggles defeated All Sorts 14-8 to remain on top while Blue Steelers scored a 19-6 win against Westies.
Those two undefeated teams will battle for outright first position when they play against one another this Thursday in round five.
In the other Pool B game Mix It Up won its first game of the season with a dominant showing where it outscored Bluebirds 25-0.
In Pool C a fourth senior team continued an undefeated start to the season by winning its fourth straight match. That was the Untouchaballs which outscored The Rangers 28-5.
In the other two Pool C matches The Link Unk downed Bri-Hards 22-7, and Ya Local Blokez defeated Razzmatazz 13-10.
Earlier in the evening there were six junior matches contested.
In the high school division BDE outscored FBS 26-18, and All Stars downed Fig Jams 25-6.
In the 11-13-years competition a dominant performance by Hubba Bubbas saw them defeat Rowdy Rockets 33-4, and Crazy Critters beat The Legends 17-6.
In the 9/10-years division Blue Thunder outscored Party Kidz 6-0, and Narrabri Swifts edged out The Ferals 14-12.
