RSL Cricket Club and Tatts Cricket Club scored second grade wins on Saturday afternoon.
Tatts defeated Civeo at Gately Field by three wickets and RSL took down the Razorbacks at Hogan Oval by 49 runs.
In the Tatts win over Civeo, Civeo captain Kaleb Mowle won the toss and elected to bat on an unpredictable wicket.
Lachlan Woolford and Jake Thurston were the first two at the crease as Sanchit Jagadeesan, who was fresh off a hattrick and five-wicket haul, opened the bowling.
The two openers combined for 11 runs before Dylan Segundo had the first wicket of the match.
Segundo began his spell with three dot balls before bowling Thurston for four runs, making the score 1-11.
Matt Potter was the next man to the crease.
Potter hit two sixes and two singles before he was stumped by Tatts captain Bill Wood from the bowling of Jagadeesan, making the score 2-31.
Shortly after Segundo had his second wicket, dismissing Mowle for a single run.
That wicket made the score 3-32 as Robert Doolan walked to the pitch.
Doolan and Woolford put on a solid 28-run partnership before it was broken by Segundo who dismissed Woolford (12) as the scoreboard showed 4-60.
The fifth, sixth and seventh wickets all fell for a combined four runs.
Segundo took down Civeo top scorer Doolan (19), Jonty Fowler then secured the scalps of Brady Jenkins (4) and Blake Ryan (4) to make the score 7-64.
Five runs later Fowler had his third wicket of the game, taking down Jye Manton (4) via LBW to make the score 8-69.

Segundo’s spell included four wicket maidens, three of which were consecutive, conceding only 10 runs for five wickets.
Tatts South African born debutante Eben Botha secured his side’s final wicket by dismissing Cain Cunnigham for nine runs.
That finalised the first innings with Tatts chasing 83 for victory.
Tatts innings started off rocky with Ash Watt (1) trapped in front by Jarrod Sevil making the score 1-2.
That brought Botha to the crease along side Guy Gleeson.
Botha picked up 11 runs before he was removed by Sevil to make the score 2-21.
Sevil secured his third scalp by dismissing Segundo (0) as the scoreboard read 3-25 and it was soon showing 4-26 as Potter bowled Gleeson (11).
A solid partnership between Wood and Ben Redfern was broken by Doolan to make the score 5-48.
Needing 33 for victory, debutante Waldo Botha came to the crease.
Wood was dismissed by Thurston for a game-high 27 which made the score 6-68.
Ryan Steel came to the crease needing 15 runs for victory.
Waldo Botha remained solid contributing 12 of the runs in the match-winning partnership.
Steel scored two runs as a wide ended the match, handing Tatts its third consecutive victory.
Sevil was the best with the ball for Civeo ending with 3-15.
