Don’t miss the final Friends Flicks movie for the year – ‘The Death of Stalin’ – on Thursday night. Stalin (in power from the early 1930s to his death in 1953) was the murderous Russian dictator once so beloved of the Western communist parties and their ‘warm and fuzzy’ socialist apologists, and is credited with responsibility for quite a few more million deaths than Adolf Hitler. But the movie is a comic take on Stalin’s death and is funny. Here is the opportunity for new audience members to go along and see the Friends Flicks’ last movie of 2019 – and maybe be encouraged to go along to Friends Flicks screenings in 2020.
