Twenty-five shooters from Narrabri, Moree, Gunnedah, Goondiwindi and Walgett attended the Narrabri Clay Target Club’s monthly shoot on Sunday, November 17.
The shoot was held over three events and fought out between four divisions.
The overall winner was Moree’s Clyde Mitchell who finished on 195 out of a possible 200 points.
That performance included two perfect scores, scoring 100/100 in event one and 50/50 in event three.
Narrabri shooters Hugh Faris, Alec Dean, Josh Knapman and Mark Barden all tasted success in their respective competitions.
It was the first event on the first of two new layouts.
Construction on the second layout will commence soon and an official opening will be held early next year.
These layouts are part of Narrabri Shire Council’s Community Sport Grants and are also sponsored by local businesses.
They are a great improvement for the club and all shooters who shoot at Narrabri’s local club.
