The Kaputar bushfires visited a Narrabri home a few days ago, a resident believes. “I found burned-black gum tree bark scattered on the lawn,” she said.”It was paper thin and could easily have been blown a long way from the fires – maybe Mt. Kaputar, even much further, given the strong winds. Luckily it wasn’t still on fire.”
