Boggabri Fire and Rescue has taken the initiative in alerting the populace to the snake danger as the weather warms up. The sign, above, is on the front of the HQ. It is wise to know the up to date treatment of snake bite – the ‘old treatments’ washing, cutting the bite area, sucking or putting on a tourniquet are NOT recommended.
