Narrabri Bowling Club’s lady bowlers acknowledged for their 2019 success

The Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club’s 2019 awards presentation night was held at the Narrabri Sporties on Wednesday, December 11.

More than 40 people attended the event which acknowledged the success and hard work of the lady bowlers for the year.

Award recipients were as follows:

Major Singles: Winner – Lorraine Scott, runner-up – Mary Wheeler.

Minor Singles: Winner – Helen Woodward, runner-up – Lyn Tuckey.

Consistency Singles: Winner – Sue Solomon, runner-up – Rhonda Welchman.

Over-70s: Winner – Val Falkiner, runner-up Heather Caton.

Fours: Winners – Denise Wall, Marie Redman, Dawn Armstrong and Lorraine Scott, runners-up – Janet Coleman, Di Chessels, Helen Woodward, Gail Panton.

Triples: Winners – Janet Coleman, Debbie Gleeson and Lorraine Scott, runners-up – Val Falkiner, Gail Panton and Eva Sadler.

Pairs: Winners – Val Falkiner and Helen Woodward, runners-up – Dawn Armstrong and Eva Sadler.

President’s Pairs: Winners – Cecile and Dawn Armstrong, runners-up – Carol Demamiel and Lyn Wedesweiler.

Under-5-years: Winner – Berice Eather, runner-up – Joyce Briggs.

The Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club’s lady bowlers will officially return to the green when the 2020 season starts in the first week of March.
