Saturday’s 2019-20 Narrabri District Cricket Association T20 grand final day saw the short format of the game farewelled, which means that local cricketers will be back in their whites this weekend.
The first grade competition will resume with round nine of its season, while the second grade campaign will enter round 12.
Both competitions have four rounds remaining ahead of the March 7 preliminary finals and the March 14 grand final.
In the first grade comp the third-placed Western Imperial Razorbacks will challenge second-placed Civeo at Collins Park, while top-ranked Tatts and last-placed RSL go head-to-head at Leitch Oval.
Tatts and Civeo have both accumulated 38 points each this season, with Tatts ahead by net run rate.
The Razorbacks are currently one win behind that pair, while RSL is two wins behind the Razorbacks making its match this weekend essentially a must-win one.
In second grade, ladder leaders RSL has the round 12 bye, which means it will remain at least two wins ahead of second-placed Civeo or third-placed Razorbacks.
Those two teams are both 12 points behind RSL at the moment and will both be in action this weekend.
Civeo takes on last-placed Crossroads at Hogan Oval while the Razorbacks will host Tatts in Wee Waa.
