For the first time in three weeks following two washed out rounds the Narrabri Touch Inc teams played yesterday afternoon at the Cooma Oval fields.

There were 10 matches contested throughout the evening, with 95 tries scored at an average of almost 10 per game.

The men’s and ladies’ teams now all ranked in grades.

There are two ladies’ competitions – A-grade and B-grade – and there are three men’s divisions – A-grade, B-grade and C-grade.

In the ladies’ A-grade competition yesterday Agies outscored BPR 12-2, and Specialised Civil Services defeated Redbacks 9-1.

In the ladies’ B-grade competition Bluebirds downed RSL Roulettes 9-1, and Xtra beat Phoenix Two390 5-2.

In the men’s A-grade division One23 Cafe scored a 5-3 victory against Hidden Talent, and the Grumley Builders downed DTA Lumberjacks 8-2.

In the men’s B-grade competition Ballbusters edged out Gee Bangers 6-5, while Damien Chiplin Plumbing saw off Win Or Booze 3-2 in what were the two closest matches of the round.

In the men’s C-grade division Cougars downed ODAPs 8-6, and Stylies beat Mowley’s Maniacs 4-2.
