Former Narrabri resident Trevor Jenkins, who achieved fame as a volunteer roadside rubbish collector, moved to Darwin several years ago where he became a well known identity.Mr Jenkins was in the news again last week after standing as a candidate in Saturday’s Johnston by-election. Mr Jenkins received 73 of the 3226 formal votes cast.
