NSW Health said there are an additional 57 cases of coronavirus in the state, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in NSW to 267.
NSW Health also sadly reported that an 86-year-old man with coronavirus died last night, in a Sydney hospital.
“Our condolences are with family and friends at this time,” said a NSW Health spokesperson.
There have now been six coronavirus-related deaths in Australia.
NSW chief health officer Dr Kerry Chant and Premier Gladys Berejiklian held a press conference earlier today.
