NSW Heath has reported that an additional 127 cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed as at 8pm on Sunday, March 29, since 8pm on Saturday, March 28, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in NSW to 1,918.
In that time there have been an additional 11 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in the Hunter New England local health district, bringing the total number of Hunter New England confirmed cases to 200.
In NSW there are 157 COVID-19 cases being treated, including 26 cases in intensive care units and, of those, 13 require ventilators at this stage.
More than 50 per cent of the remainder of cases being treated by NSW Health are through hospital in the home services.
Meanwhile deputy chief medical officer professor Paul Kelly spoke in Canberra today where he announced that there is currently 4093 confirmed cases across the country.
