It’s confirmed that our dogs and cats won’t give us coronavirus and they won’t catch it from humans. A report from Hong Kong said a 17 year old Pomeranian had died, allegedly from coronavirus, after its owner had been diagnosed. Other canine cases were reported from China. However, the RSPCA, and the World Health Organisation said ‘it is very unlikely’ that the disease is transmissible from animals to humans or vice versa, which other health authorities confirmed.
