Media company ACM, which owns and operates The Northern Daily Leader, provided an update yesterday amid the COVID-19 pandemic announcing changes which will affect the landscape of its business.
The Northern Daily Leader reported yesterday that ACM said printing operations at four press facilities and the production of a number of non-daily newspapers will be suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic and employees associated with the print sites and products stood down until the end of June.
The Courier has been an independently-owned local business for more than 100 years and the impact of the ACM announcement will not affect the circulation of The Courier and Wee Waa News.
