Trinity Kelly and Kevin Baguley will contest the Narrabri Sporties’ men’s bowls Major Singles final after both men won their respective semi-finals matches on Saturday.

Baguley defeated Larry Scott 31-18 in a match which was played across 33 ends.

In the other semi-final, Kelly was leading David Dewar 14-3 after 12 ends. Dewar fought back and managed to even the score to 15-all by the 20th end. Kelly then led 28-22 on the 30th end and went on to win the game 31-26 after 35 ends.

The final between Kelly and Baguley will be played on Saturday, September 19.

In other men’s bowls news, Major Pairs was played on Saturday morning.

Cameron Yates and Sam Pryor were too good for Rob Wolters and Tony Redman. Redman and Wolters were leading 7-6 on the eighth end but didn’t score for the rest of the game and went down 31-7.
