On Wednesday, April 14, seniors were invited to a free event to celebrate NSW Seniors Week.
The luncheon was put together by Narrabri Shire Council and held in The Crossing Theatre auditorium.
Doors opened at 11.30am, and guests were treated to lunch and dessert, before hearing the 2021 Narrabri Shire Senior of the Year announcement.
Beryl Heath was awarded the title for her work with Meals on Wheels, Inner Wheel, Narrabri Public School’s P and C, Narrabri Cubs and Scouts Group, Narrabri Art and Craft Society, Hospital Auxiliary, Red Cross and the Pink Ladies Group.
