Restrictions for unvaccinated people are being introduced or discussed in parts of the world. In France, a mandate has been extended for certain categories of workers. The mandate, called ‘health pass’, means anyone who works face to face with the public will have to show proof of vaccination or a negative test to COVID within 72 hours. The French are already required to carry these passes to access eateries and cultural or leisure venues. Discussions are underway by the German government to introduce similar measures. Free COVID testing in the country is expected to end from October. Restrictions have also been tightened for unvaccinated Greeks.
