Testing for fragments of COVID-19 at the Narrabri and Wee Waa sewage treatment plants was conducted on September 21, with both sites again returning negative results.
It is the fifth sample collected from Narrabri, ranging in date from August 24 to September 21.
Three samples have now been collected from Wee Waa, on September 7, September 14 and last week.
All sewage testing so far in Narrabri Shire has returned negative detections to COVID-19.
The two sewage treatment plants are tested at the direction of NSW Health as part of its Sewage Surveillance Program.
While Gunnedah had a positive detection to the virus on September 13, follow-up sewage testing on September 20 returned a negative result.
Tamworth returned a positive detection to the virus on September 22.
