Now that the acquisition of nuclear submarines for the Navy has been announced a really big issue has to be resolved. Should the acronym for the new Australia-UK-US alliance, AUKUS, be pronounced ‘orkus’ or ‘okkis’? Debate rages but ‘orkus’ seems to be gaining ascendancy.
