The Narrabri Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA) will host its annual general meeting tomorrow night.
The crew will gather at the Mooloobar Street rescue station from 7pm, to discuss a range of matters.
Senior training officer, Harvey Black, said the team will be looking back on the operations the VRA have undertaken over the past year.
“Even with COVID, we’ve still been very busy,” he said.
“We’ve helped out with everything from motor vehicle accidents, river work, vertical rescues, searches and snakes.”
The local squad encourages anyone who may be interested in learning more about the VRA, to come along on the night.
“You’ll get an insight into how everything works, and will get to meet all of our members,” Mr Black said.
“We’ll be delivering a range of reports from the different officers in our organisation, so you’ll find out more from them too.
“We’ll even be farewelling older members and welcoming newer members at the AGM, so it’s a great opportunity to get to know everyone behind the VRA.”
Among those retiring from the VRA is the current captain, John Hardgrave, who has served the group for the past 32 years.
Celebrate the great work the local team does, and have a say in its plans for 2022, at tomorrow night’s meeting.
