Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club celebrates local ladies’ success | PHOTOS

Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club’s 2021 awards presentation event was held at Narrabri Sporties last Thursday, December 16.

More than 40 people attended the event, which acknowledged the many successes and hard work of the lady bowlers for the year.

Award recipients were as follows:

Major Singles: Winner – Lorraine Scott; runner-up – Debbie Gleeson.

Minor Singles: Winner – Cindy Neil; runner-up – Heather Caton.

Consistency Singles: Winner – Mary Wheeler; runner-up – Lorraine Scott.

Veteran Singles: Winner – Mary Wheeler; runner-up – Helen Woodward.

Fours: Winners – Helen Woodward, Cindy Neil, Dawn Armstrong and Eva Sadler; runners-up – Di Chessells, Glennis Godden, Cecile and Janet Coleman.

Triples: Winners – Lyn Wedesweiler, Cindy Neil and Rhona Welchman; runners-up – Di Chessells, Glennis Godden and Eva Sadler.

Pairs: Winners – Dawn Armstrong and Eva Sadler; runners-up – Marie Redman and Rhonda Welchman.

President Pairs: Winners – Jan Etheridge and Dawn Armstrong; runners-up – Rhonda Fitzgerald and Lyn Tuckey.

Under-5-years: Winner – Glennis Godden; runner-up – Carol Demamiel.

Patron Trophy: Carolynne Tomlinson.

Most improved – Glennis Godden.

The Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club’s lady bowlers will return to the green when the 2022 season starts in the first week of March.
