The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by New South Wales Ambulance at 11.15pm on Sunday night to carry out an urgent inter-hospital medical retrieval from Narrabri Hospital back to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.
The helicopter critical care medical team stabilised a 57-year-old female patient who suffered serious breathing problems prior to being airlifted to Tamworth in a stable condition for further specialist medical treatment.
