An article in last Thursday’s Courier looking back at the opening of the creek bridge needs to be amended. The caption underneath the photograph of the bridges was incorrect. As loyal Courier reader Harvey Black pointed out, it should have said Narrabri River bridges not Narrabri Creek. “The new Narrabri Creek bridge was built on the site of the old one which was demolished to make way for the new one whereas with the river bridges the new one was erected alongside the old one,” Mr Black told Topical.
