An alternative vaccine for COVID-19 could soon become available to those who chose not to receive Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca doses. The Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA) has provisionally approved Novavax (Nuvaxoid) for use in a primary course of vaccination in people aged 18 years or over. ABC News reported on Monday that Novavax could be available in Australia as early as next month. However, Novavax is yet to get approval as a vaccine to be used as a booster.
