Police are investigating the circumstances of a vehicle crashing into a home on Maitland Street on Sunday afternoon.
The four-wheel drive vehicle, driven by a 74-year-old man, crashed into the front of the home destroying a verandah post.
Three vehicles were damaged as a result of the incident. However, no injuries were sustained by the driver or any bystanders.
Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters rendered safe a large fuel spill and provided fire protection for the incident while the vehicle was removed by a local tow truck operator.
Crews then assisted NSW SES with shoring up the damaged roof for the surrounding verandah with acro props and removed the remaining debris from the area.
From investigations so far, police will allege the man was driving while disqualified.
