On Monday, February 21, some Red Cross ladies and friends met at Kath Davis’ home for a busy morning assembling knitted squares ready to turn them into throws.
These squares were donated by Rose Taylor from Moree and we must say how much we appreciated the donation.
With so much going on and so many items, it was decided to donate some of the items already on hand to NDCAS for the use of the disadvantaged.
Mandy McFarland and Amanda Fowler from NDCAS were very appreciative of the donation.
Many thanks to the ladies who put the items together and to Mandy and Amanda for all they do for the people of Narrabri.
The ladies included in the morning were Claire Black, Bette Panton, Lyn Tuckey, Bev Schatz and Kath Davis.
