Thumbs up to the local branch of the National Party for its support of the alternative route for Inland Rail near Narrabri. At its meeting on Tuesday, February 15 the members listened to an address from a local engineer on why the alternative route should be used rather than the proposed route. After the presentation, the meeting voted to support the alternative route. One person abstained from voting. No-one voted against the motion.
