The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a motor vehicle accident on Old Gunnedah Road on Saturday morning.
A man aged in his 50s was treated by the helicopter doctor and critical care paramedic for chest and upper limb injuries.
He was airlifted to Tamworth hospital in a stable condition to receive further treatment.
No further details were available in relation to the accident.
