Maitland Street business McDonalds Fashions marked its 75th anniversary with a celebratory promotion and treats for customers last Thursday.
The business traces its beginnings back to the late Gordon McDonald, father of proprietor John McDonald.
Gordon, an exceptional tailor, established a business at 103 Maitland Street before the family fashion business established itself at its current shop at 126 Maitland Street.
John has spent his lifetime as a Narrabri businessman and joined the family business as a partner at the age of 18.
Including his days as a youth working at the family business, John has been part of its many changes and achievements across 53 years.
