On Saturday, September 3, Marval Designs became the deserving winner of the Whitehaven Coal Narrabri and District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards’ ‘Retailer’ category.
Proprietor Martina Boyle, who specialises in fashion and accessories, and homewares and furnishings, aims to bring the city to the country.
Stocking two lifestyle stores with premises in Narrabri and Gunnedah, Martina’s aim is to combine tomorrow’s style with timeless elegance in a contemporary theme.
Featuring leading brands in country NSW, Martina has provided her clientele with just that.
Complemented by the adjoining popular café, Yield, the Narrabri boutique has delighted locals and visitors for the past eleven years.
Martina’s husband Dave has been instrumental in helping behind the scenes, restructuring the premises into the stunning rooms they are today, and creating the café space, Yield.
The couple have two daughters, Evie aged five and Zara aged three, who have grown up in and around the stores, and thrilled to be helping their mother where they can.
“My staff Jane, Amanda and myself were so excited to win the award”, Martina said.
“We work hard on sourcing and displaying beautiful products for our customers.
“So, it’s so lovely to know that all our work is appreciated”.
