“Whatever happened to the rifle range which used to be out along the Bingara Road years ago?” a reader enquires. “I seem to remember there was a range out there about 50 years ago – one of the old shooters told me they used to shoot big .50 calibre rifles over ranges of many hundreds of yards!”
