Saturday night’s Lodge Namoi Debutante Ball was again a gala occasion, a highlight of the year and a much-anticipated event for the debs and their partners.
Fourteen debutantes were presented to Right Worshipful Brother Jordan Rex.
The night was again a major success, with debutantes, their partners and families enjoying the popular traditional ball, which has been held for more than four decades – sometimes with two events in the same year to accommodate the number of girls making their debut.
Debutantes and their partners were Miranda Hamilton and Sid Harvey, Grace Hardy and Jayden Thompson, Madison Went and Clayton Laws, Amalie Gosper and Billy Brodigan, Holly Ford and Kobe Gosper, Denae Seymour and Alistair Wheeler, Maddie Condon and Ashton Smith, Eliza Dampney and Matthew Evans, Jazmin Bennett and Jake Bussell, Piper Williams and Fletcher Williams, Layne Parker and Bernard O’Connor, Claudia Penberthy and Marlin Ryman, Ebonie Bruce and Matthew Johnson and Anna Rose Smith and Leslie Toomey.
Matron-of-honour was Cathy Slack-Smith, with page boy Aiden Eather and flower girl Ella Rex.
