Five North West Plains Poloccrosse players have been selected onto 2022 Australian squads following their impressive performances across the past 12 months.
Polocrosse Australia named those squads last week on Wednesday, and they included four players from the Narrabri Polocrosse Club and one from the Galloping Gully Polocrosse Club.
The Narrabri players are Makayla Elford (under-21 women), Julia Stuart (under-21 women), Lauren Sibley (women) and Islay Young (men), and the Gully player is Jessie Melbourne (under-21 women).
“It’s with great pleasure that we announce our Australian squads for 2022,” Polocrosse Australia said last week.
“Polocrosse Australia extends their congratulations to each and every player who has been named on these squads after their performances over the past 12 plus months.
“We also extend our thanks and congratulations to the players’ home clubs for the pivotal role that they play.”
