Telstra mobile services have been disrupted this week as a result of planned maintenance work on its telecommunications tower.
Service was affected on Monday, with an initial estimated restoration time of late next Monday night. However, it is hoped service could resume as normal this week.
“To provide a quality service, we need to perform maintenance activity from time to time on our network,” Telstra said of its maintenance works in Narrabri.
Internet and landline phone services were not expected to be impacted as a result of the works, however, telephone outages were reported in addition to issues with businesses using EFTPOS facilities.
