Narrabri High School’s Student Representative Council undertook an important task at the Shared Table premises in Balonne Street on Wednesday, December 14.
The students presented the Narrabri Shared Table group with goods collected from the school’s ‘Toys and Tucker’ Christmas appeal, an initiative organised by the SRC as an act of generosity to those in need at their most vulnerable time of the year.
The students expressed thanks to the school community for the donation of toys towards the appeal, and the broader community for the generous donations and support.
The donation of goods was further supplemented by the student’s fundraising efforts in the form of a raffle and sausage sizzle, and enabled the students to present a cheque for $1000 to Shared Table.
