The oldest living cat in the world ‘Flossie’, lives in south-east London. Flossie managed to enter the Guiness World Record thanks to her almost 27-years-of-age. A good record, given that domestic cats average age is around 12-18 years. Her current owner Vicki Green said Flossie initially lived in a cat colony near a hospital in Merseyside before having two owners, both of who have died. Vicki is an expert in the maintenance of older cats.
